On Wednesday we sat down with previous Cleveland Indians catcher Sandy Alomar, who will obtain the Life time Achievement Award at Wednesday’s Better Cleveland Sporting activities Awards.

The previous Tribe catcher, who put in 11 of his 20 Key League Baseball seasons in Cleveland, now serves as the team’s 1st-base mentor. 

Alomar recalled some of his most loved recollections with the Indians, like his unforgettable 1997 time.

Among his most loved moments was when his 7-year-previous son joined him on the discipline immediately after the 1997 MLB All-Star Activity, when Alomar hit a go-in advance property run to give the American League the lead and eventual earn.
