Cleveland Indians: Daily Rundown – January 10th, 2019

We’re almost through the first full work week of 2019. The Cleveland Indians; however, still have a lot of work to do (see what I did there?)

It’s a beautiful Thursday afternoon (at least it is where I’m at). There’s a lot to be excited about this weekend. Tribe Fest is on Saturday and if anyone is going, feel free to send some pictures to @BelievelandBall on Twitter or our Facebook page. We shall share them and even make a post about it if we get enough.

Anyhow, we don’t have much actual news today. Trevor Bauer is still taking some flack for his Twitter feud with a young Astros fan and this is still news, I guess. Any time we’re talking about Trevor Bauer Twitter wars, you know it’s a slow news day. And I will be the first to admit that. But Now Bauer has issued an apology. If his antics interest you, you can read about them here.

As for some actual team news, the Cleveland Indians announced their broadcast schedule for the 2019 season including game times. The Indians will play at 4:10 on Opening Day in Minnesota (if it’s not a frozen tundra). The home opener will be broadcast on ESPN so plan for their announcing crew accordingly. Thinking about regular season is getting me pretty excited, even with the current state of the team.

WKYC in Cleveland also did a pretty cool special where some of their anchors talked about their favorite Indians memories. There are a few cool little videos on their site worth checking out if you need to warm up your heart.

Make today a great day folks. Maybe if we all wish really really hard, the Cleveland Indians might actually do something noteworthy. A man can dream, right?
