Cleveland Indians announce spring-training game times and broadcast schedule

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Indians announced on Wednesday that 15 of their 35 spring-training games will be carried on their radio network, while 13 games will be televised on SportsTime Ohio. The Indians.com webcast will carry an additional seven games.

The Tribe opens the spring-training season on Feb. 23 against Cincinnati at Goodyear Ballpark. The Indians and Reds have adjoining complexes in Goodyear and share the same ballpark. The Indians will break camp on March 24 after playing the White Sox and travel to Arlington, Texas to play a two-game exhibition series against the Rangers at Globe Life Park on March 25 and March 26 before flying to Minneapolis to open the regular season on March 28.

Pitchers and catchers report to Goodyear, Ariz. On Feb. 12 with the first full-squad workout scheduled for Feb. 18.

The 15 radio broadcasts are broken down this way: 10 on WTAM 1100/AM; two on WMMS 100.7 and three on 99.1 FM.

The 13 games on STO include Feb. 23 @ Cincinnati, 3:05 p.m.; Feb. 27 @ Milwaukee, 3:05 p.m.; March 1 Dodgers, 8:05 p.m.; March 4 @ San Diego, 3:10 p.m.; March 7 @ Arizona, 3:10 p.m.; March 13 @ Kansas City, 4:05 p.m.; March 16 @ Angels, 4:10 p.m., March 17 @ Cincinnati, 4:05 p.m.; March 20 Angels, 9:05 p.m.; March 21 @ Texas, 4:05 p.m.; March 22 Cubs, 9:05 p.m.; March 23 Cincinnati, 4:05 p.m. and March 25 @ Texas, 8:05 p.m.
